Verified By Visa & MasterCard SecureCode is two unique ways to enhance your card safety when shopping online. At this time a Verified by Visa page appears in a new browser showing the merchant website's URL. If the cardholder has previously activated the card with Verified by Visa, he or she will be asked to enter the password that they created during the activation process. Once activated, your card cannot be used to make online purchases without your password. If the authentication fails, the merchant should request an alternative payment method.

How do I activate my card?
You can activate your card by calling up the bank that issued your card and choosing a password and a personal message. Credit card processing method ensures fast business transaction and security for the buyers and sellers. Alternately, if you choose to activate your card during online purchases, you’ll be required to provide information to your card issuer confirming your identity and then creating your password.
